Lipton: Relief
So many expandable ads these days just have repeated content in the expanded panel (when media leads instead of creative in many cases). I love to see rich media benefits used creatively and intuitively. Good show!
I think I still prefer this one :)
Told me my postcode was invalid, doesn't make it outside the UK and lacks personality. I like how it works but the smart version just felt a lot more personalised and on-brand.
Did no-one think that they should be using ‘how far can you travel on one tank rather than one gallon?’. It’s a bit like saying… ‘How far can you run on one breath of air… ½ metre’. It doesn’t sound very good.
Also… at the very least, they might have considered using a map on a larger scale to make the distance look further!!!
VW's drive to Geneva on one tank was a far more compelling proposition.
